Abstract

Effect of Potassium Fertilizer on the Influence of rice seed discoloration caused by Curvularia lunata of 4 rice cultivars under greenhouse conditions was conducted. The result revealed that the use of KCl for 1.0 g/pot (20 liters soil) applied to rice plants cv. RD9 and Klong Luang1 gave disease incidence for 36.75 and 19.05 percent. Disease severity were 14.39 and 9.61 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, the untreated rice plants were 55.05, 28.90 percent of disease incidence, and 22.46, 13.53 percent disease severity. Significant correlation was also found between disease incidence, disease severity, grain yield, and seed germination.
