Abstract

To cooperate for development self-sufficient economy in lands reform zone, the objectives are to develop community enterprise and establish rice seed bank project in Pranakorn Sri Ayuttaya province. Organization data analyzed is necessary in arranging a training course for farmers gaining knowledge and changing of behavior in rice cultural practice. The number of interviewed farmers was 41 and interviewed in October 2006. The analyzed data showed that the majority ages of farmers were ranged from 41 to 50 years old, and more than 51. The percentage was 40 and 47 respectively. 87 percent of farmers were educated in primary level, and having incomes by wages. Only 9 percent of farmer group having knowledge of rice growing technology, and most of them buy rice seeds from plant seed selling shops. Majority of farmers know little about rice pest management and good cultural practice.
