Abstract: At SPR, 8 combinations of F1 hybrid were transplanted to produce F1 seed. Average grain yield between 191-261 kg./rai with 37.74-42.68 percent filled grain had been obtained. F1 combination designated SPR06138H gave highest grain yield of 261 kg./rai. At PTT, 12 combinations F1 hybrids produced F1 seed with average yield between 191-370 kg./rai, 35.25-45.63 percent filled grain. The best combination was PTT06006H, showed highest seed yield of 370 kg./rai. At CNT, 4 combinations of F1 hybrids produced F1 seed with average yield between 183-230 kg./rai, 35.60-41.17 percent filled grain. The combination designated CNT06004H showed highest seed yield of 230 kg./rai. Furthermore at PCR, another 4 combinations of F1 hybrid seed production was carried out. Average F1 seed yield between 165-190 kg./rai with 29.48-41.15 percent filled grain was obtained. The best combination, PCR06003H, showed highest seed yield of 190 kg./rai. The yield evaluation of F1 hybrids was carried out in 3 Rice Research Centers at SPR, CNT and PTT during wet season 2006. The randomized complete bock design (RCB) with 3 replications had been assigned in the experiment. At SPR, 22 F1 hybrids and 2 checks were assigned to be evaluated. The results showed that PTT06001H gave the highest grain yield of 940 kg./rai, 26 and 16.20 percent higher than those of the standard varieties (PTT1 and SPR1), respectively. 19 F1 hybrids and 2 checks had been evaluated at CNT. The results showed that PTT06022H gave the highest grain yield of 1,138 kg./rai, 29 percent better than PTT1 and SPR1. At PTT, another 19 F1 hybrids and 2 checks had also been evaluated. The results showed that, PTT06022H gave the highest grain yield of 906 kg./rai, 31.3 and 9.2 percent better than PTT1 and SPR1, respectively.
