Abstract: Weedy rice is unwanted plant which consequently affect rice yield and quality. Red weedy rice is an noxious weed which is an constraint component in rice seed standard. Weedy rice management in rice production: case study in farmer Field in Sai Noi District, Nontaburi Province was conducted in 2003-2008. Weedy rice management in rice production was studied in farmer field in Sai Noi District, Nontaburi Province where there is weedy rice infestation. Dormancy of red weedy rice found in the field was 7 weeks. Integrated management i.e., interval between cropping, stimulate rogue rice to germinate, well land preparation, foundation seed application, pre-germinated control herbicide, water level control throughout growth period and rouging, continuously practice every season can reduce weedy rice and increase grain yield. Weedy rice decreased from 70 percent in season 1 to 2 percent in season 3 and grain yield increased from 207 kg/rai in season 1 to 866 kg/rai in season 3. The average red rice number in 500 g seed reduced from 515 in season 1 to 25 seed in season 3.
