Abstract

Research activity survey and diversity of weedy rice in Ayutthaya and Angthong provinces. The main objective was to survey and collected the farmer’s weedy rice in Ayutthaya and Angthong provinces for control weedy rice from government in the future. Survey of sampling points in farmer’s field was established in according to accomplish the farmer’s weedy rice in Ayutthaya and Angthong provinces during 2008 – 2009. Results show that the major rice production were irrigated area and planted non-photosensitive rice varieties such as Suphanburi1, Pathumatnee1 and Pisanulok 2 for difference places. It was found that the weedy rice samples was diversity with 7,10,7 and 57 % of the total samples in the causes of 31 – 50, 51 – 100, 101 – 150 and 151 – 200 panicles of weedy rice per square meter (m2) respectively in Ayutthaya province and It was found that the weedy rice samples was diversity with 3,3,37 and 17 % of the total samples in the causes of 31 – 50, 51 – 100, 101 – 150 and 151 – 200 panicles of weedy rice per square meter (m2) respectively in Angthong province.
