| Abstract: | Advantage resources were destroyed by rice straw burning. To get effect of various rice straw management on yield in long term was the aim of this experiment. RCB was experimental design. It featured 7 treatments where straw burning, straw removing from the field, straw incorporation into the soil before land preparation and minimum tillage (incorporate straw into the soil by rotary). It was conducted at Pathum Thani Rice Research Center in 2009-2010. Results showed that 4 method of straw management in 2 years involve 4 seasons did not affect yield. But trend of yield from straw incorporating into the soil before land preparation and minimum tillage plots were higher than straw burning, straw removing from the field before land preparation in both of 4 seasons. Straw burning, straw removing from the field before land preparation loose N, P, K about 4.1-8.4, 1.2-4.3 and 7.5-15.9 kg.N- P2O5- K2O/rai computed to the value of 739-1,179 ฿/rai in case of getting 500-700 kg./rai of the yield. |
