| Abstract: | Experiments of hybrid rice PTT06001H seed production techniques were conducted at Pathum Thani Rice Research Center during wet season 2009 - dry season 2010. The objective was to increase F1 seed yield. There were 2 experiments comprised :1) study on foliar applications of gibberellic acid (GA3) for promoting panicle exsertions and flag leaves cutting 2) study on row of A and R line ratio combined with the GA3 application and flag leaves cutting. The results of the first experiment revealed that no flag leaves cutting with GA3 application at 10, 30 and 50 percentages of flowering were not significant different in seed yield, filled grain/panicle and %seed set as compared with flag leaves cutting and without GA3 application. The best panicle exsertion and panicle length were showed in the treatments of no flag leaves cutting with GA3 application at 30% and 50% of flowering. For the second experiment, the results showed that A:R row ratio of 8:2 and 10:2 with no flag leaves cutting and GA3 application increased 15% and 7% higher yield than those of with GA3 application, respectively. |
