ผลของปุ๋ยอินทรีย์และปุ๋ยเคมีที่มีต่อผลผลิตและคุณภาพของข้าวโพดหวาน

Abstract

Split-split plot design in randomize complete block (RCB) was conducted including 3 main plots as the types of fertilizer (chicken and cow manures and chemical fertilizer), 3 sub-plots as the rates of fertilizer (by 0, 500, 1000 kg/rai for organic manure and by 0, 25 and 50 kg/rai for chemical fertilizer), 3 sub-sub plot as sweet corn varieties (Insee 2, Sugar 75, and KSSC 604) The experiments were conducted 4 planting dates (2 planting dates by 2 seasons). The results showed that four planting dates were significant differences for both yield and quality of sweet corn. On the other hand, there were not significant differences between the application of organic manures and chemical fertilizer. But, rates of fertilizer application were significant for weight of ear with husk and ear without husk. The higher yield and quality were highest rate of fertilizer in all planting dates. Varieties showed highly significant for the weight of ear with husk and ear without husk, number of standard ear, large ear, medium ear, small ear, plant weight and sweetness. KSSC 604 showed more the weight of ear without husk than Sugar 75 and Insee 2. But Sugar 75 gave more the weight of ear with husk. Moreover, Insee 2 gave the highest of sweetness (16.2 deg Brix) while Sugar 75 gave the lowest of sweetness (14.4 deg Brix) There was no interaction between planting date and variety. The study suggested that organic manure and chemical fertilizer gave the same yield and quality of sweet corn production and higher yield performed at high rate of fertilizer.
