Abstract: Investigation on quality and quality indices of commercial fresh sweet corn has been conducted in this study. The varieties of two sweet corn Hibrix 3 and ATS-5 have brought from Talaad Thai, wholesale market and another one is Insee 2 has brought from Sweet Corn Outlet of International corn and sorghum research center. Twenty-two characteristics of quality were studied and they will be used for provision concerning quality in the standard of fresh sweet corn. The frequency distribution of fresh weight and size of cobs and total soluble solid content were studied for provision concerning sizing and quality of fresh sweet corn standard. The relationship between quality indices and sweetness were also studied to use as indicator for choosing the quality sweet corn.
